神戸大学の六甲キャンパスは非常に落ち着いた雰囲気で、洗練されていたので、羨ましさを感じながらの学会となりました。下の写真はキャンパスからの景色で、神戸が一望できるようになっています。

発表では、多くの方から質問やコメントをいただき、大変実りのあるものになりました。そして私の発表中に、遂に例の「素人質問で恐縮ですが…」から始まる質問をいただくことができました。これは私にとって、「一度は直接聞いてみたい文言ベスト10」には確実に入っていたので大変感動しました。その上、質問者の方は大変優しかったので私の理解に合わせて議論をしてくださいました。大変ありがたかったです。

PPARC同期の川潟は神戸でインフルエンザにかかり、今頃大変な思いをしているようなので、これを読んだ皆様はどうかお体に気をつけてお過ごしください。
